I wanted to make you aware of another popular tool that I can’t live without. Wireshark has saved me a few days of troubleshooting SIP calling issues and reduced my time to repair to a few hours.
I have nothing but great things to say about this product. It supports most of the protocols that you will find in today’s networks LAN/WAN/VOIP.

Wireshark was written by an international group of networking experts, and is an example of the power of open source. It runs on Windows, Linux, UNIX, and other platforms.
It used to be known as Ethereal, and was renamed in May 2006.
